ORRISERWIN LEFEVER 9.103b, first son of Frances Maria (Tryon) LeFever 8.188f and William Hamlin LeFever, was born in Ohio, June 30,, 1871, and died at Glouster, Ohio, in February of 1942, aged 71 years. He was never married, and was affectionately known as "Fiddle LeFever."

BARNETTANNER LEFEVER 9.103c, second son of Frances Maria (Tryon) LeFever 8.188f and William Hamlin LeFever, was born in Ohio, Oct. 28, 1874, and married Becky Jane Thomas, daughter of William Harrison Thomas and Mary Elizabeth (Ellenberger) Thomas, in Morgan Couonty, Ohio, July 30, 1895. She was born in Morgan County, Feb. 6, 1874. Barney died at Glouster, Ohio, Jan. 21, 1931, aged 57 years. Becky Jane married second, Alonzo L. Tryon 8.216b in October of 1936. Alonzo died in 1946, aged 90 years, and Becky Jane died Feb. 18, 1938, aged 64 years. The four children of Barney and Becky Jane were:

He was born in 1875, and died at Glouster, Ohio, in 1935, at the age of 60 years. They had no children. Her death date is not known.

EFFIE LENA TRYON 9.108a, first daughter of Joab Tryon 8.190c and Mary J. (Jenkins) Tryon, was born in Scioto County, Ohio, June 24, 1876. She married James Oscar Brown, Dec. 27, 1897. He was born in Clinton County, Ohio, July 7, 1871, and died in Cowley County, Kans., Dec. 1, 1954, aged 83 years. She died at Arkansas City, Kans., Dec. 23, 1963, aged 87 years. There were no children.

ALVA B. TRYON 9.108b, twin, and first son of Joab Tryon 8.190c and Mary J. (Jenkins) Tryon, was born in Scioto County, Ohio, Jan. 20, 1878. He married Eliza Ellen Culp, Nov. 11, 1900. She was born in Scioto County, Feb. 2, 1880, and died at Tracy, Calif., Oct. 3, 1965, aged 85 years. Alva died of a heart attack on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 1961, at the age of 83 years. At age 32, he married Minnie Alice Butts, Apr. 14, 1910, when she was 19. She was born in Newton County, Ind., May 6, 1891. Arza died June 12, 1952, aged 74 years, and Minnie died at Nampa, Idaho, Jan. 267 1958, at the age of 67 years. Their two children were:

DELLA DEE TRYON 9.108f, third daughter of Joab Tryon 8.190e and Mary J. (Jenkins) Tryon, was born in Scioto County, Ohio, Jan. 13, 1885. She married Earl Franklin Walker, Dec. 25, 1907. He was born in Barber County, Kans., Dec. 2, 1886, and died of a heart attack at Arkansas City, Kans., Mar. 2, 1967, aged 80 years. Della Dee was of much assistance in preparing portions of this book. Their four children are:

She was born in Pratt County, Kans., Feb. 28, 1904, and was divorced from Orla in July of 1940. She died in Wichita, Kans., July 10, 1958. Orla married second, Thelma Fishe, Aug. --, 1941. CHARLES BURMAN SEWELL 9.120b, second son of John Harvey Sewell 8.194b and Mary Christina (Freytag) Sewell, was born at Burlington Junction, Mo., Oct. 4, 1886, and died at E1 Monte, Calif., July 6, 1956. He was employed by International Harvester Co. for 50 years. He married Myrta Odessa Myrick, a daughter of Washington Irving Myrick and Mary Isobel (Fugett) Myrick, at Burlington Junction, Mar. 3, 1906. She was born at Gentryville, Mo., Jan. 7, 1890. They lived at Holdrege, Nebr.; Springfield, Mo.; Denver, Colo.; Cheyenne, Wyo.; Dodge City, Kans.; and Wichita, Kans. In 1952 they moved to E1 Monte, Calif. They had three children:

JOHN HARVEY SEWELL, JR. 9.120i, third son of John Harvey Sewell 8.194b and Mary Christina (Freytag) Sewell, was born at Burlington Junction, :Mo., Oct. 25, 1905. He married Opal Genvieve Spohn, at Harrisville, Mo., Jan. 20, 1928, and died Apr. 15, 1962. He was buried in Miriam Cemetery at Maryville.

She was buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Hebbronville, Tex. She was a Methodist, and married Leuin Lenor David, Sr., at Austin, Tex., May 27, 1922. He was a son of William Cole David and Ida Boadisier (Gill) David, and was born in Live Oak County, Tex., Oct. 8, 1894. He was reared a Baptist, but became a Methodist after marriage. He served in World War II, and died at Beeville, Tex., Aug. 12, 1963, and was buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Hebbronville. They had four children:

They both died in New York City, N.Y., he on Oet. 19, 1959, and she on Dee. 8, 1960. No children reported.

RAYMOND EDWARD GEYER 9.125b, seeond son of Mary Susan (Sewell) Geyer 8.194g and Edward William Geyer, was born in Nodaway County, Mo., Sept. 18, 1890, and died at Graham, Mo., May 6, 1958. He married Stella Mary Davis, at Maryville, Mo., Oct. 27, 1914, and in a seeond ceremony, Feb. 27, 1915. They had three children:

He married first, Ruth Margaret Hubbard, daughter of John Hubbard and Mary (Smith) Hubbard, at Kansas City, Mo., Aug. 29, 1941. She was born at Norton, Kans., July 23, 1917, and died at St. Joseph, Mo., Aug. 11, 1968. They had no children. Quentin married second, Louise Etta Newby, a daughter of Frank Newby and Etta Emma (Whitaker) Newby, at St. Joseph, Mo., Jan. 17, 1970. She was born at Cameron, Mo., Dec. 23, 1921, and was married first to Mr. Baughman. In 1966 he was a Representative from West Haven, Vt., in the State House of Representatives in Montpelier. No children reported. She furnished from her mother's records some missing details in family history.

DANIEL PORTER BEST, JR. 9.146b, first son of Celia Elvira (Tryon) Best 8.214a and Daniel Porter Best, was born Aug. 6, 1908.

WILBUR HUGH MORTON BEST 9.146c, second son of Celia Elvira (Tryon) Best 8.214a and Daniel Porter Best, was born July 21, 1910. He married Ruth Scofield, June 13, 1942, and one daughter is reported:
